3. Cloudflare Hosting & Edge Delivery

The Assertive Code website is deployed globally through Cloudflare Pages & Workers (Cloudflare, Inc.).

How Technical Headers are Handled:

  • When you request a page, your browser sends essential HTTP connection metadata to the nearest Cloudflare edge data center.
  • This includes your IP address, browser type, and routing metrics necessary to transmit packets across the internet.
  • IP addresses are processed pseudonymously at the infrastructure network layer to detect DDoS attacks and filter malicious bot traffic. Assertive Code does not match IP logs to individual human identities.

4. Analytics & Cookie Management

  • Language Preference: We store a local browser cookie (assertivecode_locale) or localStorage key solely to preserve your preferred language (English, Português, or Español) between page visits.
  • Telemetry: If enabled, Google Analytics provides aggregate statistical measurements. We configure analytics to mask IP addresses and disable cross-site advertising features.
